When ordinary thinking is not enough – you need critical thinking.

This website is dedicated to helping people think critically. Critical thinking is not being critical, judgemental or negative. It is a set of thinking skills that helps people determine the truth.

AVOID BEING DUPED, CONNED or MANIPULATED

into making a wrong decision.

LEARN HOW TO THINKING CRITICALLY!

Critical Thinking is not just an academic exercise. It’s a real, practical set of skills that everyone can use in their business, profession or personal life.

Results of Critical Thinking:

  • Better decision making
  • Improved quality of life
  • Seek facts based upon truth not on assumptions
  • Avoid being manipulated
  • Dramatically improve your thinking skills
  • Become more efficient at making and saving money
  • Improve your health by making conscious, intelligent decisions

What is Critical Thinking?

Critical Thinking is a special type of thinking which includes several specific thinking skills such as metacognition, identifying assumptions, frames of reference and more. Anyone who makes important decisions, chooses a particular product or service, reads various reports (including newpapers), needs to use critical thinking.

A critical thinker seeks truth rather than relying on assumptions or speculations. Critical Thinking is NOT being critical, negative or judgmental.

Most people use some elements of critical thinking but are not aware of specific thinking skills. While most doctors, lawyers and scientists use critical thinking, it is not limited to such profession by any means. Most people ranging from auto mechanics to watch makers need to use critical thinking skills. If you buy anything, especially anything that is expensive, you would definitely benefit by using critical thinking. If you don’t want to be tricked, manipulated or duped into believing something that is false, then you need to learn how to think critically.

Decisions based upon assumptions could prove disastrous if the assumptions are false. Critical thinkers seek truth and do not rely upon assumptions or speculations.
